How big are the books?

Our deluxe books are 9”X6” and giant size books are 12”X9”.  We guarantee quality printing and binding.  

 

 

What information is needed to personalize a book?

Most books require:

  • Child’s name (middle name optional)
  • Age (optional)
  • Gender                                                                                                                                  
  • Hometown, State/Province
  • Name of three friends OR relatives
  • Up to two lines for dedication (e.g. Best Wishes, With Love, 2007,)
  • Book is from (e.g.) Aunt Sarah, Grandma, Mommy & Daddy)

 

**If you need help with your dedication, we will be glad to help you with some great ideas.

 

**Some sports books allow you to put names of winning and losing teams as well as a favorite player.

 

**In my Baby books, you can include baby’s date of birth, time of birth, weight, length, the baby’s name, mom’s first name and dad’s first name.

 

 

Why should I consider getting a personalized book?

There are several benefits to acquiring a personalized book.  Some of them are:

What if I don’t know any names of the child’s friends to put in the book?

Sibling or pet names are always great to put in the story.  If the child does not have ay siblings, we can include mommy, daddy, grandparents, uncles or aunts in the story.  We must have at least two names in the friends or relatives category.

 

Up to what age are the books appropriate?

Personalized books are appropriate for an infant up to 9 years old.

 

How often will the nickname be used in the book?

We suggest using a nickname only if it is a name that your child is known by, such as “Tom for Thomas or Nikki for Nicole.  This is because we enter the nickname as part of the book information, that name will be substituted for the child’s first name and will be used throughout the book.  Please use discretion.

 

Can I see how the book is personalized for my child?

Am I required to pay sales tax?

You are only required to pay sales tax if we are shipping the books to an Illinois address.  Shipping to any other state does not require sales tax.  Keepsake-storybooks.com will automatically add sales tax of 7.75%  to all orders shipped to an Illinois address.

 

What method of payment do you accept?

Payment methods include Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, E-Check(via PayPal), and PayPal.

 

Do you ship International?

No --- at this time we only ship within the United States.

 

How soon are the books shipped?

Books are usually made and shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment and your personalizing information.  We offer 3 methods of shipping:

  • (Standard) 10-21 days
  • (Priority) 3-5 days
  • (Express) 1-2 days

 

How will I know my order has been received?

You will receive a confirmation email from Keepsake Storybooks stating that your order has been received. Please Contact us if you do not receive an order confirmation within 24 hours.

 

How can I check my order status?

Can I personalize a single book to more than one child?

No, the personalized book is appropriate for just one child because the grammar in the books is set for only one child to be the STAR of the story.

 

There is an error in the personalization of my book, how do you handle returns?

Please Contact us immediately with the specific error information.  If we made the error in your book, we will replace it FREE of charge including shipping & handling. 

 

We are not responsible for errors due to incorrect information that you supply to us.  We encourage you to carefully check the spelling in the order form before you submit an order.  If the error occurred due to incorrect information you submitted to us, we will gladly replace the book for 20% off the original price using the same child’s name and information.  Customers will be responsible to pay for the new book’s shipping cost.  Please contact us to get your discount approved before reordering.

 

I noticed that I supplied you with the wrong information or a

Misspelled word right after submitting my order?

Please Contact us IMMEDIATELY so we can have time to STOP the processing of your order.  Emails must be received within 1 hour of your order to ensure there is time to make the change.  If any emails are received after 1 hour, we cannot guarantee that the changes will be made and you will be required to pay for any changes.  We will do everything we can to make you a completely satisfied customer.

 

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes!  Click on Gift Certificate on the Home page, fill out the form and you will also have the option to email or print out your gift certificate. 

 

How can I redeem my gift certificate?

You can redeem your gift certificate by checking the gift certificate box on the payment page section where you enter your credit card information during checkout processing.
